The lecture will be on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at 8:30 AM in the room 1.09 at IMTM.AbstractProtein unfolding and aggregation are processes implicated in various pathologies, including neurodegenerative and systemic diseases. Currently, the combination of laser-scanning microscopy with plasmon resonance principles is the only published methodology capable of inducing targeted subcellular thermal damage while simultaneously enabling real-time quantification of aggregation-related heat-shock protein kinetics. This presentation introduces advancements to the method and new measurements of the dynamic recruitment of chaperones.
